Madison Wells

Interning at Madison Wells felt like waking up inside a dream I didn’t want to end. I remember walking into the office on my first day thinking, Is this really happening? And every single day after that, it still felt just as surreal. I was surrounded by creators who had written, directed, and produced some of my all-time favorite films. Like—actual movie magic was unfolding around me. I got to watch it happen. That alone was enough to make my jaw drop daily.

But what made Madison Wells so special was the purpose. This is a company that’s not just telling stories—they’re telling the right stories. Stories that uplift “badass women.” Stories that spotlight people who push boundaries. Stories that crack open a conversation and spark something bigger than a box office hit. Madison Wells lives at the intersection of passion, purpose, and powerful change—and being even a tiny part of that felt like fate.

During my time there, I got to work on social media and create marketing materials that didn’t just promote something—they meant something. I realized: this is what I want to do. This is the kind of work that makes me excited to show up and give 110%. It felt like everything clicked. And most of all, I felt valued. I felt seen. I felt like part of the team, not “just the intern.” And that meant everything.

However, midway through my internship, the company made the heartbreaking decision to shut down the marketing department. It was a gut punch. I had grown so close to the incredibly talented people I was working with, and watching them face something so unexpected was devastating. I couldn’t imagine how they were feeling—and yet, through it all, they showed nothing but grace.

Suddenly, I found myself stepping up in ways I never expected. I became one of the main people responsible for helping wrap everything up. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me so much about resilience, adaptation, and what it means to keep going when the script changes on you. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

Interning at Madison Wells was the single most transformative experience I’ve had. It didn’t just prepare me for the workforce—it gave me a crystal-clear picture of what I want my story to look like. One filled with meaning, passion, and purpose. One where I don’t just chase dreams—I live them.
